Mark was trained through the Carolina’s Associated General Contractors’ Carpenter Apprenticeship Program. Over the years, Mark has supervised nearly every commercial project type including recreational facilities, healthcare buildings, municipal projects, labs, churches, and learning centers. He has a strong work ethic and a hands-on approach in the field.

Craig enrolled in the apprenticeship program at Bryant Durham Electric after graduating high school. While attending East Carolina University he worked for a developer constructing service stations across Durham. After graduating from ECU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management in 1999, Craig joined CT Wilson Construction as a superintendent. From 2015 to 2017, Craig worked as an owner’s representative/construction manager for Dunhill Holdings. His extensive experience with new construction projects and numerous commercial project types make him a valuable asset to his team. 
Cliff Beasley

Cliff took courses at Wake Tech while enrolled in CT Wilson’s Apprenticeship Program. Instruction focused on construction document comprehension, carpentry, safety, management and supervision, scheduling, cost control, estimating, bidding, and green building fundamentals. Cliff also received invaluable management training while overseeing the field operations of a small tile company. His specialized experience enhances his expertise as Superintendent by bringing a distinct understanding to his management style. Cliff has worked on a variety of smaller scaled projects, typically for public clients.  In his spare time, Cliff enjoys fishing and volunteering at his church.

Mike started at CT Wilson after graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University. Mike has supervised a variety of construction project types from new construction to renovations. His experience involves working with private and public clients across various municipalities, with diverse schedule requirements and a vast range of cost. Mike is a member of ECU’s Construction Association and Pirate’s Club.


Matt Earley

Matt joined CT Wilson’s apprenticeship program immediately following high school where he received specialized training in construction document comprehension, carpentry, safety, management and supervision, scheduling, cost control, estimating, and bidding. He received his Project Supervision Certificate from Wake Tech Community College in 2009 and has been almost exclusively managing healthcare renovation projects as a Superintendent. Matt excels in client relationship management, working in occupied facilities, and enforcing the highest level of safety and health standards.

Paul worked in the construction industry while attending Appalachian State University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Technology/Construction Technology with a Minor in Business. Paul has built projects out of the ground and projects that involve complex renovations in historic or occupied buildings. His extensive experience enables him to foresee potential problems early on in the project and avoid them. Always thorough and organized, Paul is a strong implementer of LEAN Construction methods.


Billy Carden

Billy worked in residential construction before joining CT Wilson in 2004 as a Carpenter’s Assistant. He worked his way up to Superintendent and is responsible for managing a large portion of CT Wilson’s multi-million-dollar renovation projects including Person County Memorial Hospital, Saxapahaw Mills, and Revolution Mill in Greensboro. Billy specializes in historic preservation projects and is a member of the Historic Preservation Foundation of North Carolina.


Fredy Vargas

Fredy has worked in the construction industry most of his life as a skilled carpenter. He joined CT Wilson Construction in 2005. In recent years, he has been fulfilling a role equivalent to that of a project foreman where he has acquired critical on-the-job experience necessary for becoming a site superintendent. Before enrolling in the CAGC Project Supervision course in 2021, Fredy had already completed the apprenticeship program through Durham Tech. He was promoted to Assistant Superintendent in 2021, and is assisting on a large, out-of-the-ground educational facility for one of CT Wilson’s legacy clients. In his spare time, Fredy enjoys playing recreational sports with his kids.

Dennis “Red” Stanley

Red started working in construction before he graduated high school in 2001. When he came to work for CT Wilson, he enrolled in the Apprenticeship program offered through Carolina’s AGC. In his spare time, Red enjoys carpentry projects and working on cars.


Todd Andrews

Todd came to CT Wilson in 2004 with a seasoned background in building supplies, landscaping, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn. He enhanced his skills with the company through on-the-job (OTJ) training and further education in carpentry, blueprint reading, and various safety training. He received a certificate for Journeyman from the Carolina’s AGC. Todd worked his way up to Superintendent and has experience with a variety of project types including historic restoration, commercial offices, and healthcare renovations.

Ryan worked his way up to Superintendent and has since managed a variety of our large-scale projects for Duke Regional Hospital and Durham Academy. He is the most experienced in mixed-use, HUD housing projects overseen by the Durham Housing Authority. Ryan is always eager to take on a new challenge and brings an upbeat attitude to each project.

Matt began working in construction in 2006 as a laborer for CT Wilson Construction. He left after four years of working for the company and went on to spend a year in Bolivia to provide social services for families in extreme poverty. Matt came back to CT Wilson in 2015 as an Assistant Superintendent and finished his Associate’s Degree in Spanish and Psychology at Alamance Community College in 2016. He was promoted to Superintendent while working on the JA Whitted School project – a HUD funded multi-generational, multi-use, historic redevelopment project. Matt has worked on numerous projects ranging in type, size, and cost. In his spare time, Matt can be found on his farm with his wife and son.


Erin Evans

Erin joined CT Wilson Construction in the early 2000’s as a general laborer. Before taking a short break from construction to pursue other opportunities, he received his Journeyman Carpenter certification. In 2015, Erin returned to the construction industry and worked on acquiring the necessary training and certifications to advance his career. In 2021, Erin attended the CAGC Supervision Academy and was promoted to Assistant Superintendent in the same year. Erin brings over ten years in the field to his management position and is currently running his own smaller projects. In his spare time, Erin enjoys building cars and working on construction projects around the house with his kids.

Zak received an Associate’s Degree from Lenoir Community College before obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University in 2008. He was hired as a Superintendent right out of College and has been responsible for a variety of addition and renovation projects. A lot of his projects have been mixed-use developments or places of worship. Zak is an Appalachia Service Project Volunteer and previous Summer Staff member.

Taylor received an Associate’s Degree in Building and Construction Technology from Pitt Community College before obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management from East Carolina University in 2009. Over the Summers, Taylor worked as a framer for a residential contractor. This hands-on mentality is reflected in Taylor’s management style. As Superintendent, Taylor manages large new construction and renovation projects for private and public clients.

Jarred graduated from Southern Durham High School in 2008 and went on to attend East Carolina University to study Construction Management. Josh Parsley

Josh started at CT Wilson in 2011 immediately following high school. He worked his way up to Superintendent from Carpenter’s Assistant and has been an integral member of the team responsible for the 600,000 sf redevelopment project of Revolution Mill in Greensboro. In his spare time, Josh is a drummer in a local rock band.

Jose started his construction career as a laborer right out of high school, working his way up to carpenter and eventually superintendent. He has supervised various projects ranging from $100,000 to $2 million. His background as a carpenter brings a hands-on component to his supervision style. In his spare time, Jose enjoys working on his vehicles and riding ATVs.


Chris Philipps

Prior to joining C.T. Wilson in 2015, Mr. Philipps spent over a decade in residential construction as a superintendent and later an owner for a few different custom home builders. In 2006, he joined Lee Street Construction as a superintendent overseeing jobs ranging from $150,000 to $3,000,000.

Al started his construction career as a carpenter working for $5/hour. He worked his way up and in 1983, he relocated to Durham to work for a developer as a construction site supervisor. Fifteen years later, he started his own company as a licensed General Contractor in North Carolina, Florida, and Pennsylvania. Andrew Philipps, the owner of Lee Street Construction at the time, later recruited Al as a superintendent. Al worked with Andrew for several years before they both joined CT Wilson Construction.

Skyler started working at CT Wilson Construction in 2016 as a general laborer. Through CT Wilson’s apprenticeship program, which is offered in conjunction with Durham Tech, Skyler received his Journeyman Carpenter certification. He later attended the CAGC Supervision Academy and was promoted to Assistant Superintendent in 2021. As an Assistant Superintendent, Skyler will be assisting Superintendents on larger projects and running smaller projects on his own. Skyler enjoys fishing when he is not working.

Leon was promoted to Assistant Superintendent in 2021 after completing the CAGC Supervision course. When he is not working, Leon enjoys spending time with his family.

AJ started as a laborer at CT Wilson on an office upfit in downtown Durham in 2017. AJ has since completed his NCCER Journeyman Carpenter training and the CAGC Project Supervision course where he gained technical knowledge and skills to fast-track his career in site supervision. AJ was promoted to Assistant Superintendent in 2021. He is now responsible for assisting Superintendents on large projects and running his own smaller projects. In his spare time, AJ enjoys fishing.

Coy interned with CT Wilson for two summers while finishing his bachelor’s degree in Construction Management at East Carolina University. He came on board full time with the company in 2020 and ran his first job as an Assistant Superintendent in late 2021. His experience to date also includes assisting on a large, historic mill redevelopment project. When he is not working, Coy enjoys being outside riding ATVs or playing golf.

Bobby Tripp

Bobby began as a roofer when he was 17 before pursuing training with the Coast Guard in Maryland. Over his 40+ years in the industry, Bobby has gained experience with a multitude of hands-on construction skills. Since joining CT Wilson in 2018, Bobby has worked on numerous historic redevelopment projects, multi-family renovations, and medical office up-fits. As an Assistant Superintendent, Bobby assists Superintendents on larger projects and is capable of overseeing smaller project independently.

After college, Chris took a job as a laborer on our largest project in 2019. He fell in love with construction and began looking for opportunities to grow in his career. He enrolled in a Supervision course through Carolina’s AGC and was promoted to Assistant Superintendent in 2021. As an Assistant Superintendent, Chris will be assisting Superintendents on large projects and running his own smaller projects. Outside of work, Chris enjoys riding his motorcycle and detailing his truck.

James Taylor

James Taylor brings over 30 years of experience in construction to the CT Wilson team. His experience includes both residential and commercial construction. For the past 28 years, James has managed his own business developing land, building, and renovating houses. James established strong management and business development skills overseeing employees, managing trades, and acquiring new clients. These skills will be crucial in his position of managing small projects and addressing maintenance concerns for existing clients. In his spare time, James likes to ride his Harley and travel with his wife.

Fred Keister

Fred started working in construction after gaining his Journeyman Certification in Washington, DC in the 1980’s. Since then, he has spent the majority of his career working for a well-known regional drywall subcontractor as a Foreman and Superintendent. He has extensive experience scheduling deliveries and managing labor, overseeing safety compliance, keeping the general contractor apprised of project status, performing quality control checks, and supervising project status from buyout to punch list. Fred joined the CT Wilson team in 2021 as an Assistant Superintendent, where he will be trained to run projects as a general contractor. At his previous company, Fred was the recipient of numerous Foreman of the Month and Foreman of the Year awards.
